The hepatitis B vaccine protects against hepatitis B. It is administered in one
primary dose and two booster doses to healthy adults 20 years and older.
What to expect at your visit

2 Review the Vaccine Information Sheet.
3 We will administer
the vaccine. We will recommend a first booster dose 1 to 2 months later and
a second booster 4 to 6 months later, if appropriate.
4 We will give you a visit summary and
send it to your primary care provider at your request.
What to know before your visit
- The price shown is for each shot administered within the vaccination
regimen.
- Patients with a history of adverse reactions to the vaccine may
be referred to another care setting.
- Pregnant women will be referred to another care setting.
- We recommend that patients remain in the clinic waiting area for
20 minutes after receiving vaccinations
to ensure there are no negative reactions.
All of our practitioners are trained to respond to anaphylactic reactions and will
see that you receive immediate medical attention.
