Poison ivy, oak, and sumac are plants that can cause rashes in children and adults who spend time outdoors. If you come into contact with these plants it may cause an allergic skin reaction characterized by localized, itchy red bumps or small blisters. We can help you treat your poison ivy or oak.
What to expect

to see a nurse practitioner or physician assistant. No appointment necessary.
2We will review your medical history,
discuss your symptoms, conduct an examination and provide you with a customized treatment plan.
3We will give you a visit summary
and send it to your primary care provider at your request
What to know before your visit
- Patients with the following may be referred to another care setting:
- Widespread involvement (>50%) of rash over trunk and extremities
- Marked discomfort
- Involvement of the eyes or other sensitive areas
- Children < 12 years of age who require oral steroid therapy
- Secondary bacterial infection
