Flu-like symptoms

Influenza, otherwise known as the flu, affects the nose, throat, and lungs and is caused by a virus. You can spread the flu simply by coughing or sneezing. Since the flu and a cold share the same symptoms, it can be hard to figure out which you have. We can help!

What to expect at your visit

1 Sign in at the electronic kiosk to see a nurse practitioner or physician assistant. No appointment necessary.
2We will review your medical history, discuss your symptoms and perform an evaluation.
3We will review your results and discuss a treatment plan.
4We will give you a visit summary and send it to your primary care provider with your permission.
5Please note that additional charges apply for labs and tests. Visit our labs & tests page for these fees.

What to know before your visit

  • Patients with the following may be referred to another care setting:
    • Severe illness (significant chest pain, abdominal pain, severe headache, etc.)
    • Recent history of MRSA
    • Pregnancy
    • Patients with renal insufficiency or liver disease
