Earache/ear infection

Earaches are common in children between the ages of 6 months and 3 years, but can happen at any age. Ear infections are caused by a viral or bacterial inflammation of the middle ear. We can assess your symptoms and prescribe an antibiotic if necessary, to get you or your child on the way to feeling better.

What to expect at your visit

1Sign in at the electronic kiosk to see a nurse practitioner or physician assistant. No appointment necessary.
2We will review your medical history, discuss your symptoms, conduct an examination and provide you with a customized treatment plan.
3We will give you a visit summary and send it to your primary care provider at your request.

What to know before your visit

Patients with the following conditions may be referred to another care setting:
  • Severe illness (significant chest pain, abdominal pain, severe headache, etc.)
  • Dizziness or vertigo
  • Ear trauma, recent scuba diving
