• Known exposure to poison ivy, poison oak or poison sumac
• Rash
• Itching
• Redness and swelling
• Blisters

Patient will be referred to primary care provider if:

• Widespread involvement of rash over trunk and extremities, or marked discomfort or both
• Exposure due to smoke with possible inhalation – patient should seek immediate health care attention
• Involvement of the eyes or other sensitive areas, such as oral mucous membranes and genitalia
• Under 3 years old
• Have an immunocompromised condition
