Heal patients. Redefine health care.
Credentialing
One of the ways that we ensure quality care and a positive patient experience is
to make sure that all of our practitioners are credentialed before they begin seeing
patients. This helps MinuteClinic maintain our Joint Commission accreditation and
allows us in-network status with most major insurance plans, so that our care is
more accessible and affordable for our patients.
Our support helps ensure you won't experience any undo delay in your credentialing
process. Plus, we'll help you keep your credentialing current throughout your career
with MinuteClinic.
Support at every turn
The credentialing process includes a review and verification of education, licensure
and certifications. You'll work one-on-one with our regional credentialing coordinators–subject
matter experts that can help you more quickly navigate the process as it is handled
in your state. Upon accepting an offer of employment
with MinuteClinic, you will receive information in the mail that includes a credentialing
application and list of supporting documents that need to be returned within a specific
timeframe. Depending on your state, your supporting documents may include:
- A copy of your DEA License
- A copy of your State License
- A copy of your CPR Certification
- A copy of your National Certification
MinuteClinic reimburses DEA certification costs and helps you through the process
of renewing your DEA license, as well.
