Competitive pay structure

That means, unlike other practices, you will be compensated for every hour you work at MinuteClinic. And because of our care model and proprietary EMR system, you can leave the extra hours of completing documentation and paperwork behind you. Plus, our in-depth market research ensures our rates are always competitive and are updated on an annual basis to remain that way.

401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with Company Match
MinuteClinic offers its employees a dollar-for-dollar match on all employee contributions up to 5% of your eligible annual income. The employer match is fully vested immediately.

Medical Insurance
MinuteClinic partners with Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Rhode Island to offer a medical program with one of the largest provider networks nationwide. MinuteClinic pays a portion of the cost of the benefit for you and your dependents.


Dental Insurance
MinuteClinic partners with Delta Dental of Rhode Island to provide dental insurance to our full-time employees. Delta Dental of Rhode Island offers a large network of providers through the Delta Dental PPO and Delta Premier networks.

Life Insurance
Lincoln Financial provides Life Insurance and AD&D benefits to MinuteClinic's full-time employees. Typically, MinuteClinic provides each employee with one times their salary in life and AD&D insurance. Voluntary life and AD&D insurance is also available to you and your dependents at very competitive rates.
MinuteClinic offers regular part-time employees the chance to enroll in a limited scope benefit package. This plan includes after-tax Term Life and Accidental Death insurance policies through the Aetna Affordable Health Choices insurance plan.

Short-and Long-Term Disability Insurance

Short-Term Disability

MinuteClinic partners with Lincoln Financial, who provides short-term disability coverage to our full-time employees. Short-term disability benefits are effective on the employee's six-month anniversary with MinuteClinic.

Long-Term Disability

MinuteClinic partners with Lincoln Financial, who provides long-term disability coverage to our full-time employees. Long-term disability benefits are available on the first of the month following 30 days of employment.


Pre-Tax Dependent Care
All full-time and regular part-time employees who work at least 24 hours per week may participate in the Dependent Care Spending Account. You may contribute a maximum of $5,000 annually or, if you are married filing separately, you may contribute up to a maximum of $2,500 each, with a combined maximum of $5,000 between both you and your spouse. Coverage is effective on the first of the month following 30 days of continuous employment.
MinuteClinic has established a qualified plan that allows you to pay for certain out-of-pocket day care expenses with pre-taxed dollars. You may contribute a maximum of $5,000 annually or, if you are married filing separately, you may contribute up to a maximum of $2,500 each, with a combined maximum of $5,000 between both you and your spouse.

All full-time employees may contribute up to $2,400 annually under the MinuteClinic Pre-Tax Health Care Flexible Spending Account, to pay for out-of-pocket medical and dental expenses you and your dependents may incur during the plan year. Coverage is effective on the first of the month following 30 days of continuous employment.

We have partnered with LifeScope to offer an EAP to all of our employees and their family members, regardless of participating in MinuteClinic's medical plan. LifeScopeEAP's trained and licensed counselors are available by phone and are there to help you find efficient solutions — 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Paid Time Off
PTO is designed to provide flexibility in scheduling time away from work for such activities as vacation, illness, personal business or family concerns. PTO increases at various benchmarks during the employee's tenure. Forty (40) hours maybe be carried over each calendar year.

CME Reimbursement
Effective upon hire, MinuteClinic assists employees with continuing education that includes reimbursement for expenses and time off to attend CME. Business Travel Accident Insurance
Business Travel Accident Insurance coverage is designed to protect you in the event of injury or death while traveling on company business. You are automatically enrolled on the date you actively begin employment. Eligible employees participate in this company-provided insurance plan at no cost.
