Heal patients. Redefine health care.

The Hiring Process

At MinuteClinic, we’ll help make your hiring experience as seamless as possible; in fact, you’ll have our support every step of the way. We’ll keep you up-to-date from the time of your interview all the way through your orientation, working with you to prepare for your first day.

Once you receive your verbal offer, the road to your first day looks a little like this:

1.    Complete your offer documents and your credentialing profile
2.    Schedule your pre-employment meeting with your new manager
3.    Attend New Employee Orientation and in-clinic training

Important Components of the Onboarding Process

Credentialing

MinuteClinic requires all of its providers to be credentialed to help us maintain our Joint commission accreditation. Credentialing of our providers allows us to remain in-network with most major insurance plans, and therefore makes MinuteClinic more accessible and affordable to our patients.

Collaborative Agreement

As a MinuteClinic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will enter into a collaborative agreement with one of our Medical Directors. This ensures compliance with applicable state practice regulations, but more importantly provides you a forum to help you grow your clinical knowledge base.

Orientation

MinuteClinic has a thorough orientation program designed to ensure professional, clinical, and operational confidence and competence in our new providers as they begin their working autonomously in our clinics. The program incorporates online courses that can be taken from home with hands-on, in-clinic training, as well as professional support from our Regional Training Managers.
